Swatara Creek - Boat House Park access

One of my favorite places to go for a paddle.  Easy access at the boat ramp.  The creek moves very slow at this spot so it is easy to paddle upstream.  Wildlife is abundant and should be easy to spot.

Shores are tree-lined with very few houses around, especially upstream.  You'll be in the midst of Milton Hershey farm property.  The creek is very shallow upstream ( maybe 14" ) and is a great place for beginners or children.

About 1/2 mile downstream on the right, the Manada creek terminates into the Swatara as well and is good for a short upstream paddle as this creek becomes very shallow very quickly.
